How To Activate Your Dove Payroll Using the 2026 Update

First things first, please make sure that you have paid for Dove Payroll License Renewal for 2026. If you have, then thank you for paying for your Payroll License Renewal. Also please make sure that you have no outstanding Technical Support bill. No Customer will be activated until they settle their Technical Support bill. Now it's time for you to get activated.

NEXT STEPS

Here are the next steps to get activated. Step 1: Go to our website dovecomputing.com



Step 2: Click on the Link at the top titled 'Dove Desktop Payroll 2026 Update'.



Step 3: Click on the Link 'Download Update File'.



Step 4: a) On the website, Enter your Serial Number and Organization Name.



b) To find your Serial Number and Organization Name, open Dove Payroll on your Computer and log in.





c) Click on Utilities in the Menu Bar. Then Select 'Update Register Details'.



d) Copy the Serial Number from the field labelled 'Serial No:' e) Copy the Organization Name from the field labelled 'Company Name:'



Step 5: On the website, Click on the button 'Get Activation Details'.



Step 6: Click on the link 'Download 2026 Activation Key'.



If you get Stuck feel free to Contact our Support Team to help you with the Activation Process. Their phone numbers are further below Step 7: In your Downloads folder, Double Click on the file 'UpdateDovePayroll2026_17Nov2025.exe'



Step 8: The Update Dove Payroll Install Program should open. Click on 'Next'.



Step 9: Select 'I agree with the above terms and conditions'. Then Click on 'Next'.



Step 10: If you are running More than One Payroll (e.g General Payroll, Management Payroll) contact our Support Team Before you Proceed. Their Phone numbers are further below. If you are running Only One Payroll, you can go ahead and Click on 'Next'.



Step 11: The Update will begin installing soon. Click on 'Start'.



Step 12: At this stage click on 'Skip or Exit'.



Step 13: The Installation is Complete. Click on 'Next'. Another Window should come up. When it does you can click on 'Exit'.



Step 14: Go to the Dove Payroll folder. Right Click on 'DovePay.exe'. Select 'Run as Administrator'.



Step 15: You may see a message saying you need New Activation Details. After you should be able to see the Activation Form. Click on 'Accept Licence'.



Step 16: At this Point you will have the Chance to Enter the New Activation Details that you downloaded.



Step 17: Go to your Downloads folder, Double Click on the file 'desktop_payroll_activation_details_2026.txt'



Step 18: Copy and Paste the Appropriate Values from the File to the Dove Payroll Activation Form. The image below is just for demonstration purposes. Use Your Values in Your File ('desktop_payroll_activation_details_2026.txt'). For Number of Employees, Please Copy the Digits Only (e.g 20), Do Not Copy the Word 'Employees'. In this example there is an 'Email Key' in the File. Your File may not have that. That's okay. If your File has an 'Email Key', Please copy the Key Only, Do Not Copy the Word 'Email Key:'. In some cases there may be a 'Features Code' in the File. You will not have to use the 'Features Code' at this stage.



Step 19: When you are Done Copying and Pasting. Click on 'Finish'.



Step 20: You should see the Product Activation successfully done message. Click on 'Ok'.



Step 21: You can now Click on 'Close'. Congratulations you have Completed the Activation Process!
